Title: Shopaholic and Sister
Author: Sophie Kinsella
I read this entire novel in a very sleep-deprived state in the hospital after Maren was born. It was the perfect novel for the situation I was in-- too hyped up to sleep, but too exhausted to read anything too substantial. I really enjoyed the story of Becky and her long-lost sister. But maybe it was my post-birthing euphoria that made it a good read for me, because even as I was enjoying the book, I found myself getting totally annoyed with Becky and her lack of substance. But if you're in a situation where you want to escape with a book whose protagonist is fluffy and unconflicted, this is the perfect novel to read.
