Beijing, Day 2

On our second day in Beijing, I decided that if there are men out there whose wives want to adopt again shortly after the firs adoption, the best way to cure them would be to send them on a long overseas trip with their toddler, them pack them on a sightseeing bus all day. By the end of day 2, I was quaking in my boots.

We started out the day with a tour of Beijing's hutong district. Hutongs are houses built around a central courtyard, and although Beijing is now dominated with apartment buildings, this is the way people used to live in the good old days. We rode bicycle rickshaws, which was pretty awesome.
