And we're off!

We're taking off this morning for China! We fly first to San Francisco, then to Seoul, and then we'll land in Beijing tomorrow night. Friday and Saturday we'll visit the Forbidden City, Tienamen Square, hutongs, and the Great Wall. Then we'll take a high speed train to Nanjing. On Sunday, we'll visit Shanghai. We get Eli on Monday, adopt him on Tuesday, and have a few days to tour Nanjing and settle in. On Friday we'll fly down to Guangzhou, have our medical exam on Saturday, go shopping with a personal shopper, visit the safari park, and take care of government business. Then we'll return home on March 27th. I'll be blogging as often as I can manage with two toddlers, but also plan to be posting pictures on Facebook. Thanks for all your support-- it's fun to know that so many people are pulling for this little guy of ours!

Wow Shelah! It has been an amazing few years in your home. I use to read your blog regularly, but life has gotten away from my blog roll, and I haven't ready here for a few years. I for one am so excited for your amazing journey into International adoption (again). my prayers are with you.

Shelah, You and your Mom, Rose and Eli will be in our thoughts and prayers every moment. I thought too late that I should have become "Flat Annie" and come along for the ride! Safe, safe travels. I love you all!
