Bryce got a new pair of Crocs for his birthday. They make his feet look big. Really big. Adult-size big. So I tried them on and they fit me. I thought it would take more than eight years to have a kid whose feet are as big as mine are.
I'd say that's nutty but Scooter's head circumference caught up to mine when he was six and surpassed me when he was seven. His feet are still a few sizes behind though.
similarly, i took my 5th grade daughter shopping today for some new running shoes. it's hard for me to fathom that her feet are as long, albeit narrower, as mine. this means that at some point, i'm destined to be the family shrimp. inconceivable. ♥

i just discovered the same thing! my 8 year old has huge feet! too bad we don't like the same kind of shoes.
not a fan of crocs. and since i have huge feet, it will take my kids a really long time to beat me. :)
