Running review: 1/16-1/21/06

Another decent week! I'll continue to serve two masters (the training for the half-marathon one and the hoping I'm pregnant one) for at least another ten days, but after that I should know if I'm going to torture myself by running or torture myself with morning sickness.

Monday, 1/16: 3.5 on the treadmill. I punched it up to a 2% incline and it felt pretty decent. Freaking hot though. It's kind of surreal to need air conditioning in January.

Tuesday, 1/17: Isaac had a doctor's appointment, then I watched a friend's kids while she went to the OB. No running and no yoga for me.

Wednesday, 1/18: 3.5 on the treadmill. I did a lot of varying my speed (I usually keep it around 6.8) and it made it a little bit less monotonous.

Thursday, 1/19: 10+ (probably about 10.5) with Alexis, Celeste, Rachelle and Kathryn. Wore my new running shoes for the first time. Other than a small blister and an aching back it felt great.

Friday, 1/20: Yoga. Annie joined me for the boat and some of the sun salutations. Isaac likes downward-facing dog.

Saturday, 1/21: 3.75 in the neighborhood. A good, meditative kind of run.

Total: 21.25 miles and 1 day of yoga
