A 47 year-old abortion provider is found dead in her swimming pool. At first it looks like an accidental drowning, until the coroner notices a huge bruise on her head. Her remaining family (a husband and a daughter) deal with her death while the police try to determine her killer.
The killer didn't really surprise me all that much. There are a lot of people who do bad things in the book, but only one who is truly psycho. And I'll just tell you know that he's the one who did it.
