Title: Baby Proof

About fifty pages into this book I was really, really mad and considered not finishing it. Look at the cover-- you see the title and the cute little booties? On the back jacket I read that the protagonist and her husband agree not to have any kids, and then he decides he wants them. So I figured that the book would be about her adjusting to the idea of having kids, getting pg, having a baby, etc... Nope! Fifty pages in and they're DIVORCED! By the end of the book, neither one has kids. I have to say that I did enjoy the book once I resolved to read it, but it definitely wasn't what I was expecting. And as someone who is 3 years younger than the main character and on her fourth baby, I must admit that I had some difficulty identifying with her.
