... with the presidential nominee, apparently. Last night we started watching the first season of 24. We're all caught up on Lost, at least on everything that has aired in reruns this summer, and there are still two months left until the fall season starts, so we figured that we'd pick up another show. We watched three episodes and Eddie is totally engrossed. I think I prefer Lost, but 24 is pretty good too.
Anyway, back to my original point, I was surprised at how many of the characters on 24 I've seen in other roles. On Saturday night we watched Fun with Dick and Jane (which I didn't think was all that fun, but that's a whole other story) and Karl from Desperate Housewives was in it. He's also in the first season of 24. And the guy who does all of those Allstate commercials (you know, the tall African-American guy with the really deep voice) is running for president on 24. Nina looks a heck of a lot like the girl who did Loveline with Dr. Drew and Adam Corolla on MTV.
The good news is that Season 6 doesn't start until January, so Eddie and I, hardened tv addicts that we are, will probably be able to get in all five seasons before then.
