My kids are so weird

Today is one of Annie's preschool days, which means that for five blissful hours, I have only one kid at home. Isaac (22mo) is so easy-- he plays with himself, doesn't want to play with acrylics, and takes a long nap every afternoon. Today he played by himself for a while, then asked to watch tv. Here's a play-by-play of our conversation.

Me (as I'm looking for a Thomas DVD): Do you want trains?

Isaac: No, tat.

Me: Do you want Baby Einstein?

Isaac: No, meer-tat.

Me: Do you want Wonder Pets?

Isaac: NO! Meer-tat!

I am totally confused at this point, when it dawns on me that he wants to watch Meerkat Manor the documentary show on Animal Planet that follows the life of a tribe of meerkats in the Kalahari Deseret. It's Bryce's favorite show, but I thought he usually only watched it when Isaac was asleep.

So I turned it to Meerkat Manor and my baby started squealing and jumping and singing "meer-tat , meer-tat." My kids are so weird.
