The transformation has begun! Last week I swapped out the animal cards for the flower cards and on Thursday my mom and I spent way too much money at Pottery Barn Kids. I painted the letters Friday night. It's still a work in progress, but I like where we're headed with it.
Here's a shot looking into the room from the hall. You can get the whole effect pretty well in this picture:
Here you can see the cute valances. I don't know why my flash didn't work, but you still get the idea:
And here's a close-up shot of the crib. I don't have the sheets yet (I had to order those), but they're a floral print:
Last, but not least, here's a view of the changing table. It hasn't changed at all since it was Isaac's room, so I'm not really sure why I had to show you a picture, but I wanted to be thorough, I guess.
Things that we're still going to do:
- Decorate the shelf with a combination of silk flowers and these: http://www.eeboo.com/product.php?cat=91&prod=89
- Hang this in the corner by the changing table: http://www.eeboo.com/product.php?cat=15&prod=87
- Paint several of the flowers from the wall cards behind the changing table and in the corner by the toy basket. My mom is in charge of this project.
Oh, and the outfit dilemma is solved too. I bought something from this line (a one-piece, socks, a hat and a blanket) when we were in San Marcos at the outlets this weekend:
What am I going to do with myself for the next 17 weeks?
