Only six weeks old and she knows sign language already!
You know, they always say that early childhood education is of vital importance. Maren must be a child prodigy or something, because she's doing a great job in this picture of expressing her mood today through sign.
Four going on.....four
Annie often acts like she's four going on about fifteen. Even though she's the second child in the family, she bosses everyone around like she's the oldest. She reads like a pro and she loves to ask everyone how old we think she looks, hoping we'll say eight or ten. A few days ago I told her that five year-olds aren't allowed to whine. If they whine, they go back to being four. Annie believes me. So she has been trying really hard to stop whining before her fifth birthday this Friday. I have a feeling that she'll be vascillating between five and four for the next few months. My mom asked me if she whined enough if I could shave a few years off of her age too. Sorry Mom, it only works if you're innocent enough to believe in it.
