Just checking in to say that phase one of our month-long family extravaganza is over. Eddie's sister and her family left this morning. We had a great week and the cousins totally bonded, but I'm beat! I have a day to clean the house, do forty thousand loads of laundry, pack my suitcases and regroup before my little sister, my kids and I set off for a trip to Nashville (13 hours) and Chicago (9 more hours). We'll be hanging out at my mom and dad's house for a few days and I'll be home in about two weeks.
And just when I thought we couldn't get any more family fun, I just bought plane tickets for us to all go to Utah for 2 1/2 weeks to visit Eddie's family in July and August. Except for about three weeks in the early part of July, we'll either have company or be visiting relatives for the whole summer!
