Book #48: The Stolen Child

The Stolen Child: A Novel

Title: The Stolen Child

Author: Keith Donohue

It's been several weeks since I read this book, but I really liked it. It's based on the myth of a changeling child, in which a child is stolen from its parents and replaced by a fairy who looks exactly like the child. The story is set in 20th century Pennsylvania and follows both the boy who was stolen by the fairies and the boy who took his place. It's very interesting, mystical and well-written, and would be worth reading by anyone who thinks they don't like fantasy.
