We have continued the tradition with our kids, they're on their own for Disneyland. But we did manage to take them on an epic trip to Italy last year. Which has caused it's own problem, because now they both think they should get to go for their senior trip. I was not much of a believer as a child and many aspects of my childhood were, frankly, not very magical at all. I just feel weird encouraging that in my kids; we've never done anything with fairies, leprechauns, Santa, Elf on the Shelf, Easter Bunny, whatever. But, we still have a lot of fun and do great things together. We have a lot of traditions, even though they aren't 'magic'. And, so far, I think things are OK.
